Shopping lists

In order to understand our users better I thought it sounded fun to reach out to different cohorts of users at random and to simply have a chat with them. 9 out of 10 users alluded to wanting an easy way to organize items that they weren’t ready to checkout with – some users flat out said “I wish I could add items to a shopping list”.

After running a workshop with multiple members of the team and seeing the desire for shopping lists to be implemented… we went for it! I led the design for a integrated shopping list feature across web, native iOS and native Android.
